Introducing: Move-In Checklist with Bilt Hospitality for Housing

Move-in sets the tone for your residents’ experience, but it involves more follow up than most property teams have bandwidth for. From lease paperwork and renter's insurance to parking registration and utility setup, every incoming resident has a long list of things to do – and for most property teams, it’s still managed manually.
What we built
A customizable move-in checklist inside the Bilt Alliance Portal: built once by the property team, delivered to the necessary residents, and followed up on automatically by the Bilt Concierge.
Why we built it
Move-in is the first real impression residents have of their new home. Missed tasks, late follow-ups, and residents left wondering what comes next can shape their perception for months to come. Onsite teams deserve a better way to manage move-in than manual tracking and constant follow-up.
What it actually does
Property managers create customized move-in checklists in the Alliance Portal, complete with tasks, deadlines, audience selection, and optional rewards, like Bilt Points, for on-time completion – powered by the Bilt Concierge.
Residents only see the tasks that apply to them. When something's overdue, the Concierge follows up automatically, so the team isn't chasing. Completion progress tracks in real time on the PM dashboard, and when everything's done, residents get both their points and a proper welcome to their new home.
